About the Contributor Agreement
Welcome to the Slow Notion blog! We are so happy to have you here. As Communications Director, I am overjoyed to see everyone’s fantastic ideas and talent play out in our posts. In the interest of radical honesty, I want to speak briefly on the contributor agreement we require for posting on the blog.
We take all the work that we do very seriously. The contributor agreement helps ensure that we provide a safe and respectful environment for self-expression. The agreement allows us to offer a platform for all of our voices while protecting ourselves from internet trolls. The bottom line is that we are going to take bold action without inviting any big legal action to be taken against any of us.
The contributor agreement sets up rules and procedures which uphold Slow Notion’s mission and values. It is the framework for what we produce and one of the ways in which we hold ourselves accountable. Thus, it is super important that you read and acknowledge your understanding before any of your posts go live on theslownotion.com. We will keep everyone updated if the agreement needs to change in any way, so check your emails please and thank you.
If you have more in-depth questions about the content of the agreement, check out our FAQ page. Still have more questions or concerns? Feel free to reach out via instagram (@slow.notion.blog) and we can chat.
Warmly,
Meg
